Once we’ve received your completed application, we will contact you quickly to have a longer conversation, answer some of those questions and arrange a meeting. This is when we get to know each other a little more and when we tell you about our simply lip licking franchise opportunity.
The first meeting usually takes place at an SFC restaurant or our Reading office for UK applicants, and in the UK or your hom country for international applicants.
We’ll have been through your application at our meeting, and now is the time we both do our homework. You’ll get a disclosure pack with some great business planning advice, a copy of franchise and deposit agreements and lots of information. We look at your application in more detail and if you are successful we can then work with you or independent trusted financial advisors to help get your finances in order
Once the right location has been agreed we start the ‘Design Phase’ and we create a detailed plan of the layout and look of your new restaurant. Funding gets confirmed by the bank, and we’re almost ready to roll. We work together to finish up all the documentation, and once it’s all done you will officially become a Southern Fried Chicken Franchisee.
We have developed a very comprehensive training program over the last 30 years for our franchisees. Training typically starts one month before the restaurant opens in ongoing.
The moment we will have all been waiting for finally arrives. We will assist you with organising the lease and make sure you’re 100% ready to start trading in the best possible conditions. Your dedicated local support manager will assist you with your marketing and we’ll make sure that the whole neighbourhood knows about your new Southern Fried Chicken store.
We have worked with major financial institutions in order to assist you in acquiring the capital necessary to start your future as a franchisee. In fact we can even point you in the direction on Franchise Finance who will handle your application and business plan from an independent standpoint.
